The usual question came up, where do we have dinner? We were both tired of the usual place and since the place came highly recommended by a friend, as well as having all-round great reviews, Annie 1 @ Damansara Utama came to mind.
*Heart and I tried were out of luck last weekend as the place was packed to the brim on Saturday morning, and was closed on Sunday evening. Fortunately for us, it was open just now and with a comfortable crowd.
I am definitely not a coffee person, but the 'cham peng' (Iced Coffee tea mix) seemed to hit the spot that time. |
After tasting our plates of noodles, we both agree that they are springy and flavorful. Definitely opens up one's appetite.
We ordered a side dish: 10 pieces of Wan tan. Very flavorful, both the broth and the dumplings. |
We shared a 2nd plate of noodles, Pork ribs. It was alright. |
We ordered a butter-kaya toast too, which came out nice.
Overall the place is fine, I dare say it's one of the better Wan tan noodle place in the PJ area, but in my opinion nothing to scream about, and most certainly not worth a long wait if there's a huge queue preceding us.
4/5.
